We recently held a vote here for t-shirt slogans based on entries submitted by the members of the PotteryBasics discussion group. The entries were fantastic, and we came up with some real winners. This slogans are NOW AVAILABLE on a number of different items from t-shirts to aprons, bags, sweatshirts, caps, etc. through our CafePress store at http://www.cafepress.com/potterybasics . Click on the link or the images in this article to go to the store and see what's available. The small royalties we get on the items helps to support this website and the PotteryBasics discussion group.
PotteryBasics Challenge
A new challenge has been posted here for the PotteryBasics group: To make something new that you've never challenged yourself before to make. Under the "Things to Make " option in the menu, there is a list of many ideas that have been submitted on the discussion list. Pick one of those items or come up with an idea of your own. Make it -- then take a picture of it and send it to Leesh (Alisha Clarke) at the email address of "cyberleesh" [at sign] then "gmail" then the typical ".com" ending (sorry for the cryptic address, but those darn spammers can be nasty)

Support PotteryBasics
This website and the associated discussion group take time and money to run. We want to make this resource available to everyone interested in doing pottery without charging for membership or access to any of the information and features of the site and the discussion group. To help cover the costs, we have put some non-intrusive ads on the site, and include links to Amazon where you can buy many of the pottery books in our book reviews, and Smartflix where you can rent a number of pottery videos. By using these links when you buy or rent one of these products, PotteryBasics receives a small royalty. This does not add any cost to your purchase or rental, so we all win. Thank you for your support.
